Solanco had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Twin Valley Raiders a 3-0 shutout. That's two games straight that the Golden Mules have won by exactly three runs.

Solanco pushed their record up to 24-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Twin Valley, with the loss, they broke their 18-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-3.
