Basketball Recap: More Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

More waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the St. Monica Academy Crusaders with points to spare, taking the game 64-46. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 76-48 win the Crusaders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2025.

More got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Vincenzo Selway out in front who shot 78% from beyond the arc to rack up 21 points and five steals. Those five steals gave Selway a new career-high. Sean Selway was another key player, going 6-for-8 en route to 14 points and three steals.

More's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for St. Monica Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.

More didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-36 loss against Summit Shasta on the 20th. As for St. Monica Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 67-39 defeat against Faith Baptist on the 19th.
