Rock Canyon had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt Smoky Hill on Saturday. The Jaguars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Buffaloes. Considering Rock Canyon have won seven matches by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Smoky Hill with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gigi Fiorelli, Emmy Kasperson, and Canyon Tucker.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Rock Canyon, bringing their record up to 8-2-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. As for Smoky Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

Rock Canyon wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Castle View on the 28th. As for Smoky Hill, they have also already played their next match, a 2-2 draw against Eaglecrest on the 30th.
