Basketball Recap: Norman Thomas Takes a Loss

Norman Thomas lost against Bergtraum back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Norman Thomas Tigers took a blow against the Bergtraum Blazers, falling 121-37. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 60-25.

Norman Thomas' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Griggs Mcneeley, who posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Abdullah Syllah, who put up 11 points.

Norman Thomas dropped their record down to 8-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Bergtraum, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Norman Thomas will welcome Rustin at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bergtraum, they will face off against Irving at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
