Basketball Game Preview: North Farmington Raiders vs. Avondale Yellowjackets

The North Farmington Raiders will head out on the road to challenge the Avondale Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Farmington is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

North Farmington came up short against Athens on Friday, falling 48-22.

Meanwhile, Avondale unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Rochester by a score of 38-36. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Yellowjackets have suffered since December 13, 2024.

Avondale's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-3. As for North Farmington, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.

North Farmington was dealt a bruising 62-23 loss at the hands of Avondale when the teams last played back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Avondale's Morgan Mcpherson, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds.
