Basketball Recap: Alonso Comes Up Short

Alonso was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 58-54 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bloomingdale Bulls. That's two games in a row now that the Ravens have lost by exactly four points.

Alonso's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Bloomingdale, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-5.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Alonso Ravens face off against the Armwood Hawks at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Bloomingdale has already played their next game (against Wharton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
