Goshen's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 24-15 win over the Wawasee Warriors. The victory was some much needed relief for the RedHawks as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Goshen got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Douglas Diaz out in front who rushed for 59 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 143 yards and one TD. Another receiver making a difference was Spencer Elliott, who picked up 106 receiving yards and two scores.

Despite the loss, Wawasee saw an underclassman step up: freshman Mason McKibben rushed for 59 yards and one touchdown, and also picked up 30 receiving yards.

Goshen's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-4. As for Wawasee, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
