Baseball Recap: Ashland Comes Up Short

Ashland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 12-2 to the Southern Aroostook Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 two weeks ago.

Ashland saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Soucy, who went 3-for-4 with one double.

Ashland's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Southern Aroostook, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.

Looking ahead, Ashland will welcome Hodgdon at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Southern Aroostook does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
