Soccer Game Preview: New Haven vs. Prairie Heights

The New Haven Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Prairie Heights Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

New Haven managed to slip by East Noble the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs lost 4-0 to the Knights on Monday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, New Haven haven't been shut out since back in August.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Prairie Heights, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Non Varsity Opponent 2-1 on Thursday.

Ivan Munoz and Caston Day scored both of Prairie Heights' goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Prairie Heights' victory bumped their record up to 3-11. As for New Haven, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5-1.

Everything went New Haven's way against Prairie Heights when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as New Haven made off with a 6-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
