Adena is 9-1 against Zane Trace since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Adena Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the Zane Trace Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. Zane Trace took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Adena, who comes in off a win.

Adena is headed into the game having just posted their closest victory since January 8, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged Amanda-Clearcreek out 37-35. The win was all the more spectacular given the Warriors' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 288th, while the Aces are ranked 94th).

Meanwhile, Zane Trace came up short against Piketon on Saturday and fell 50-41. The Pioneers have struggled against the Redstreaks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Adena is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Zane Trace, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.

Adena was able to grind out a solid victory over Zane Trace when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 48-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Adena since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
