Softball Recap: Hampton Bays Comes Up Short

Hampton Bays lost against Islip back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Baymen lost 12-6 to the Buccaneers.

Shea Egan made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Louise Brumagin, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Hampton Bays' loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Hampton Bays will be playing at home against Sayville at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Islip will be paying especially close attention to the Baymen's game: after the Baymen faces off against the Golden Flashes, they'll take on Islip again at 4:00 p.m. on the 28th.
