The Box Elder Bees will face off against the Maple Mountain Eagles at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Box Elder will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
Box Elder is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They didn't even let Cyprus on the board, marking the Bees' second-straight 15-0 shutout. Considering the Bees have won 17 matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Kennadie Blackmer was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 13 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, Izibel Mason was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Quincey LIsh was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
Box Elder was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .654. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in six consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Maple Mountain gave up the first runs on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against Taylorsville by a score of 8-3.
Gracie Jensen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on 11 hits and racked up eight Ks.
On the hitting side, McClain Carter was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Brinley Cherrington, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.
Maple Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 21-8. As for Box Elder, their win bumped their record up to 25-3.
Box Elder beat Maple Mountain 9-6 in their previous matchup back in May of 2018. Do the Bees have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
