Softball Recap: Saginaw Comes Up Short

Saginaw was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 14-0 to the Richland Royals. The Rough Riders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Royals from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Saginaw's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Richland, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3-2.

Saginaw didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-0 defeat against Brock on the 5th. As for Richland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Argyle on the 4th.
