Volleyball Recap: Minneapolis South Comes Up Short

Minneapolis South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the DeLaSalle Islanders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2019.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-10, 25-15.

Savannah Daugherty paced Minneapolis South's offense, picking up four kills. Daugherty got some help from Eleri Peterson and her eight assists.

Minneapolis South's defeat dropped their record down to 6-22. As for DeLaSalle, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-4.

Minneapolis South does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for DeLaSalle, they will welcome Highland Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
