Baseball Recap: Leavitt Makes It Eight in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Leavitt, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Waterville Panthers on Monday. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Ryder Sawyer-Brown was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Sawyer-Brown was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Trent Holst was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Randan Hutchinson, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
