It was a proper cat-fight when Lutheran duked it out with Holy Family on Saturday. The Lions blew past the Tigers 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.
Lutheran walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21, 25-11.
Gabriella Speckman paced Lutheran's offense, picking up ten kills. Speckman got some help from Kate Wilson and her 17 assists. Finally, Sophie O'Connell kept Lutheran's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.
