Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woodbridge). They put the hurt on the Gar-Field Red Wolves with a sharp 15-1 victory on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Noah Babcock spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, Caelan Goodwin-Slater was a standout: he scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Max Powell was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-5.

Woodbridge was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .514. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matchups.

Woodbridge now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Gar-Field, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Coming up, Woodbridge will welcome Freedom at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gar-Field, they will square off against Forest Park at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gar-Field is facing Forest Park at the right time seeing as Forest Park is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
