Volleyball Recap: Hickory Ridge Wins Going Away Against West Cabarrus + How To Watch

Hickory Ridge's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the West Cabarrus Wolverines with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Ragin' Bulls in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now won seven in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Hickory Ridge was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-14, 25-9.

Lilah Edwards was the offensive standout of the contest as she had five digs and three aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last seven matches. Lanie Campbell also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Hickory Ridge was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. They are a perfect 14-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Hickory Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for West Cabarrus, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-6 record.
