Soccer Recap: Travelers Rest Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Travelers Rest was not quite Walhalla's equal in the second half on Saturday. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Walhalla Razorbacks. That's two games in a row now that the Devildogs have lost by exactly two goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Travelers Rest and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Walhalla, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Travelers Rest wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 4-0 defeat against Greenville on the 23rd. As for Walhalla, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Wren on the 22nd.
