Basketball Recap: Central Regional Comes Up Short

Central Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 45-35 to the Middletown North Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Eagles of the 44-28 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2022.

Central Regional's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Middletown North, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Central Regional and Manchester Township will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Middletown North, they and Middletown South will meet in a classic North v. South matchup at 5:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
