Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kearsarge). They blew past the Hillsboro-Deering Hillcats, posting a 78-37 win. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while the Hillcats are ranked 78th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Kearsarge, bringing their record for this year to 12-1. As for Hillsboro-Deering, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Newport the next time they take the court. Kearsarge will host Newport at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Hillsboro-Deering will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
