Softball Recap: Dover Takes a Loss

Dover was the 7-4 winner over Susquehannock when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Dover fell 5-1 to Susquehannock on Friday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dover's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Susquehannock, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dover will venture away from home to take on Manheim Central at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Manheim Central has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.6 runs per game on average), something Dover will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Susquehannock, they will square off against Wyomissing at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
