Football Recap: John F. Kennedy Catholic Comes Up Short

John F. Kennedy Catholic played a tough match on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Garfield G-Men, falling 36-14. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the G-Men apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

John F. Kennedy Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Garfield, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. John F. Kennedy Catholic will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Garfield, they will host Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
