Soccer Game Preview: Great Oak vs. Palm Desert

The Great Oak Wolfpack will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Palm Desert Aztecs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Great Oak is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Elsinore. The Wolfpack never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Friday. The score was close at halftime, but Great Oak pulled away in the second half with three goals.

They hit Elsinore with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ryder Hadley (2), Mathias Oseguera, and Grayson Perez.

Meanwhile, Palm Desert gave up the first goal on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They had just enough and edged out Coachella Valley 2-1.
