Recap: Fort Bragg Timberwolves vs. Willits Wolverines

The Fort Bragg Timberwolves's three-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They strolled past Willits with points to spare, taking the game 55-40. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Fort Bragg has managed all season.

Andre Chavez-Meza was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with six rebounds. Those 25 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Cooper Killion, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.

Fort Bragg's win bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Willits, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Fort Bragg and Making Waves Academy will round out the year against one another at 8:00 p.m. on December 28th at. Willits will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Middletown at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024.
