Football Game Preview: Carson Cougars vs. East Rowan Mustangs + Official Tickets

The Carson Cougars will challenge the East Rowan Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Carson is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Carson is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Concord on Friday. The Cougars took a 20-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spiders. While the Cougars didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Spiders 7-0 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, East Rowan scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of West Rowan by a score of 35-33. The defeat came about despite the Mustangs having been up 20 in the third quarter.

Carson will have to contain Jason Bonds as he made an impact in East Rowan's last game. He picked up 121 receiving yards and three TDs. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Cauble, who threw for 251 yards and three touchdowns.

East Rowan now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Carson, they now also have a losing record of 3-4.
