Football Recap: Central Starts off Right with Win over Jurupa Hills + How To Watch

Central took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They breezed past Jurupa Hills to the tune of 46-14. Central pushed the score to 39-6 by the end of the third, a deficit Jurupa Hills cut but never quite recovered from.

Central had a senior duo take command as Matthew Lizaola gained 58 total yards and three touchdowns and Luis Jimenez threw for 151 yards and two touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes. Joshua Garcia got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.

Coming up, Central will welcome Palm Desert at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jurupa Hills, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Hesperia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
