Roberts Posts Huge Game in 16-7 Victory

Starting off the list is East Hartford's Drayvn Roberts, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Roberts rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also threw for 100 yards and a touchdown.

Unfortunately for Hall, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Roberts. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Roberts saw the Titans), he rushed for 170 yards and four touchdowns, and also threw for 120 yards and a touchdown.

Jayden Allen's Big Game Can't Quite Lead New Britain over Manchester

New Britain was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Jayden Allen did his best to prevent it. Manchester had no answer to Allen as he rushed for 123 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries.

Allen is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Hartford Public on Friday. Allen rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries the last time he and the Owls duked it out back in November of 2023.

Glastonbury Wins Third-Straight Thanks to Dante Casdia

Dante Casdia's big game helped extend Glastonbury's winning streak to three on Friday. Casdia was dynamite, rushing for 73 yards and three touchdowns, while also picking up 36 receiving yards and a touchdown.

If the past is any indication, Casdia could be in store for another big game when he takes on Simsbury on Friday. When Casdia last faced the Trojans back in November of 2023, he rushed for 168 yards and two touchdowns.

Connor Finnerty Makes It Two for Glastonbury

Keeping Casdia company is Connor Finnerty, a fellow Glastonbury player. He threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes.

On the year, Finnerty has thrown 16 touchdowns while averaging 140.6 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after nine games last season, he was only averaging 9.56 passing yards per game.

East Hartford Gets a Boost from Rivera in 16-7 Victory

Another East Hartford player making an appearance on this list is Yaxier (Jack) Rivera. He picked up a sack and made ten total tackles. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 100 rushing yards.

Rivera is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Manchester on Friday. When Rivera last faced the Red Hawks back in November of 2023, he picked up two sacks and made ten total tackles.
