Preview: Stratton Eagles vs. Otis Bulldogs
Stratton is 6-1 against Otis since February of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Stratton Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Otis Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Stratton beat Akron 54-42. The win made it back-to-back wins for Stratton.
Stratton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cyler Notter out in front who scored 18 points along with 5 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Notter has scored at least 25% of Stratton's points. Another player making a difference was Von Isenbart, who scored 7 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Otis sidestepped Idalia for a 48-46 victory.
Stratton's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Otis, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Stratton skirted past Otis 55-52 when the teams last played on Thursday. The rematch might be a little tougher for Stratton since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
