ITW David Speer Academy strolled past the Masai Lions with points to spare, taking the game 49-31. ITW David Speer Academy pushed the score to 44-18 by the end of the third, a deficit the Masai Lions cut but never quite recovered from.
ITW David Speer Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Miabella Collazo, who scored 13 points along with six steals and five blocks. Collazo is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Yarilyn Figueroa, who scored 16 points along with two steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for ITW David Speer Academy and bumps their season record up to 12-3. As for Rowe-Clark, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-11.
ITW David Speer Academy will be playing at home against the Pumas at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Johnson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Tuesday. Rowe-Clark does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
