Dakota Valley put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 64-52 win over the Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Dakota Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cameryn Sommervold led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 18 points and nine boards. Sommervold has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Bella Stokes, who went 6 of 8 en route to 16 points.

Dakota Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in five consecutive contests.

Dakota Valley's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.4 points per game. As for Sergeant Bluff-Luton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

As for Sergeant Bluff-Luton, they will take on Jefferson at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Sergeant Bluff-Luton is facing Jefferson at the right time seeing as Jefferson is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
