Football Recap: Alma Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Alma lost against Farmington back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Airedales had to suffer through a 49-20 loss at the hands of the Cardinals. While losing is never fun, the Airedales can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas football rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while the Cardinals are ranked 35th).

Several Airedales players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dallas Perkins, who rushed for 109 yards and one score on only 15 carries. Perkins' longest rush was for an impressive 56 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Alma didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Samuel Schlegel and Brooks Belcher.

Alma's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Farmington, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Alma does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Farmington, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 44-0 win against Harding Academy on the 14th.
