It was a good run, but Patrick Henry Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bridges Prep Buccaneers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Kinley Cook paced Patrick Henry Academy's offense, picking up four kills. Cook got some help from Emilee Stanley and her six assists.

Patrick Henry Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Bridges Prep, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-6.

Patrick Henry Academy has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Northside Christian Academy on the 4th. As for Bridges Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lake Marion at 6:30 p.m.
