Basketball Recap: Buena Vista Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Buena Vista can now relate to. They were beaten by the Garden City Bearkats 71-14 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Longhorns in their matchups with the Bearkats: they've now lost five in a row.

Buena Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Garden City, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 31-3.

As of now, neither Buena Vista nor Garden City have any future games scheduled.
