Volleyball Recap: Lakeland Takes a Loss

Lakeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the King's Fork Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Lakeland's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for King's Fork, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lakeland is set to face off against their familiar foe Nansemond River at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, King's Fork will challenge rival Great Bridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
