Basketball Recap: Lorain Comes Up Short

Lorain was the 67-57 winner over Sandusky when they last played one another back in December of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Lorain Titans fell just short of the Sandusky Blue Streaks by a score of 68-65 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 309th, while the Blue Streaks are ranked 84th).

Jason Henlon was his usual excellent self, going 7 of 12 on his way to 23 points and five assists for Sandusky. Henlon's evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kobe Brown, who posted 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Lorain is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. As for Sandusky, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Lorain didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-46 win against Scott on the 28th. Sandusky has also already played their next match, a 51-49 victory against Brush on the 28th.
