Scappoose waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They never let the Astoria Fishermen get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 12 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Scappoose pushed their record up to 21-4 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Astoria, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-15.

Looking ahead, Scappoose will take on Gladstone at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Astoria, they will head out to face off against St. Helens at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
