Baseball Recap: Haines City Comes Up Short

Haines City lost against Celebration back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hornets came up short against the Storm, falling 12-2.

Haines City saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Juan Valbuena-Laballos, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Haines City's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Celebration, their record is now 9-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Haines City will welcome Discovery at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hornets are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Celebration, they will face off against Cypress Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Storm will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: the Bears will have lost three straight heading into Thursday's match.
