Football Recap: Bloomingdale Comes Up Short

Bloomingdale lost against Strawberry Crest back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulls fell 28-20 to the Chargers. The Bulls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Josh DeJesus threw for 80 yards while completing 71.4% of his passes. Jeremiah Lowe was his top target, picking up 46 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Sammy Zelaya rushed for 32 yards.

Sevin Bagnato looked great while leading his team to the win, punching in two rushing scores, while also throwing for 168 yards and one TD while completing 77.8% of his passes. Those two rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. A healthy portion of Bagnato's aerial production (84 yards to be exact) went to Jose Aponte, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Bloomingdale's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Strawberry Crest, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-4 record.

As of now, neither Bloomingdale nor the Chargers have any future games scheduled.
