Basketball Recap: Chireno Comes Up Short

Chireno and Douglass squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Chireno had to settle for second. They took a hard 34-18 fall against the Douglass Indians. The defeat continues a trend for the Owls in their matchups with the Indians: they've now lost six in a row.

Chireno's loss dropped their record down to 31-4. As for Douglass, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 25-9 record this season.

Chireno does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Douglass, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 45-33 victory against Frost on the 17th.
