It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact McCurdy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Raton Tigers by a score of 11-10 on Wednesday. The Bobcats' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Celestino Salazar-Archuleta made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-5 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. McCurdy is 16-2 when Salazar-Archuleta posts two or more runs, but 3-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremaya Roybal, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

McCurdy's defeat dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Raton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-11 record this season.

McCurdy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Raton, they will face off against Eunice at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
