Volleyball Recap: Hilmar Victorious

Hilmar had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Livingston Wolves on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Yellowjackets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Among those leading the charge was Stella Pires, who had 18 assists and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 31 games she's played dating back to last season.

Hilmar has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Le Grand on the 23rd. As for Livingston, they will welcome Gustine at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
