While Boron didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-18-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Arvin Bears on Friday. The Bobcats were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Bears, so the Bobcats were just returning the favor.

Boron's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Arvin, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-7-2 record.

Boron didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Bishop Union on the 12th. As for Arvin, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Vasquez on the 12th.
