Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Franklin Academy walked away with it. They never let the Seaforth Hawks get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Thursday. Franklin Academy's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

They hit Seaforth with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Rylee Caine, Kayla Rice, and Audrey Keith.

Franklin Academy pushed their record up to 23-0 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those 14 matchups. As for Seaforth, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-3-1.

Looking ahead, Franklin Academy will square off against Roanoke Rapids on Tuesday. Franklin Academy's defense better be ready for this one: Roanoke Rapids have averaged an impressive 4.6 goals per game this season. Seaforth does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
