Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Van Buren). They never let the Vanlue Wildcats get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory on Monday. The Black Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by seven runs or more this season.

Van Buren's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Vanlue, they are on a 26-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Coming up, Van Buren will welcome Elmwood at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Royals will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Black Knights surely won't give up without a fight. As for Vanlue, they will square off against Arcadia at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
