Softball Recap: South East Jaguars vs. Roosevelt Rough Riders
South East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 14-3 to the Roosevelt Rough Riders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to South East of the 20-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Wednesday.
Sam Pena was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with a triple, a run, and an RBI.
South East's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Roosevelt, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 16-7.
As of now, neither South East nor Roosevelt have any future games scheduled.
