Blue Valley Southwest came tearing into Saturday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Junction City Bluejays by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Timberwolves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Blue Valley Southwest to victory, but perhaps none more so than Melia Peters, who had four digs and three aces. That's the most aces Peters has posted over her last ten matchups.

Peters wasn't the only good servers: Blue Valley Southwest was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive contests.

Blue Valley Southwest's victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Junction City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Coincidentally, Blue Valley Southwest and Junction City will both be playing Topeka the next time they take the court. The Timberwolves will head out to face the Trojans at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bluejays will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
