Volleyball Recap: Fisher Falls to Watseka in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Fisher had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Watseka Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The Bunnies were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in August of 2021.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Fisher sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-18, 16-25, 15-10.

Bella Kelsey paced Fisher's offense, picking up seven kills. Kelsey got some help from Brooklynn Kellems and her 15 assists. Raegan Kilman controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Coincidentally, Fisher and Watseka will both be playing Bishop McNamara the next time they take the court. The Bunnies will head out to face the Fightin' Irish at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
