Recap: Cosby Titans vs. Highland Springs Springers
The Cosby Titans and the Highland Springs Springers squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Cosby Titans had to settle for second. Cosby was dealt a 49-6 loss at the hands of Highland Springs. While losing is never fun, Cosby can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while Highland Springs is ranked fourth).
reed hill threw for 130 yards and a touchdown. Landon Snyder was his top target, picking up 48 receiving yards. On the ground, Robert Boyd iv rushed for 95 yards.
Cosby's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Highland Springs, they have yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 10-1 record.
Cosby does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Highland Springs will be playing in front of their home fans against Oscar Smith at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Oscar Smith is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
