Basketball Game Preview: Tuttle Tigers vs. Ardmore Tigers

The Tuttle Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the Ardmore Tigers at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Tuttle will head into Friday's game on the come-up: they were handed a 30-point defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Anadarko 35-33.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Ardmore took on Pauls Valley last Saturday. Ardmore came out on top against Pauls Valley by a score of 48-38. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Panthers are ranked 202nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ardmore has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points per game. As for Tuttle, their record now sits at 12-4.

Tuttle came up short against Ardmore in their previous matchup back in February of 2018, falling 44-33. Can Tuttle avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
